Stephan Delbos<\/strong> is the author of the poetry chapbook\u00a0In Memory of Fire<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(Cape Cod Poetry Review, 2016); and the poetry collections\u00a0Light Reading<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(BlazeVOX, 2019);\u00a0Small Talk<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>(Dos Madres, 2021); and\u00a0Two Poems<\/em>\u00a0(The Literary Salon, 2021). Two of his plays have been staged:\u00a0Chetty\u2019s Lullaby<\/a><\/em>, about trumpeter Chet Baker, in San Francisco in 2014, and\u00a0Deaf Empire<\/em>, about composer Bed\u0159ich Smetana, by Prague Shakespeare Company in 2017. His translations from Czech include V\u00edt\u011bzslav Nezval\u2019s\u00a0The Absolute Gravedigger<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(Twisted Spoon, 2016: recipient of the PEN \/ Heim Translation Grant) and\u00a0Woman in the Plural<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(Twisted Spoon, 2021); and\u00a0Paris Notebook<\/em><\/a><\/em>\u00a0by poet Tereza Riedlbauchov\u00e1\u00a0(Verse Chorus Press, 2020).\u00a0His scholarly study,\u00a0The New American Poetry and Cold War Nationalism<\/a><\/em>, was published by Palgrave in 2021.
